Description

The Jin laboratory is looking for a responsible, highly motivated postdoctoral scholar. Scope of study: Basic and translational studies of Alzheimer's disease and other neurological disorders,  focusing on microglia, lipid mediator signaling, and glycosylation. Tools and materials include rodent models, cell cultures (including human iPS cell models), human tissue samples, lipidomics, glycomics, and glycoproteomics. Funding: NIA, NINDS, and NICHD.

Requirements

Ph.D.s (or M.D.s with substantial benchside research experience) with experience in neural cell cultures (iPS cell experience preferred) and/or transgenic/knockout mouse models of diseases are encouraged to apply. Other preferable experience includes molecular biology, omics study, and electrophysiology (patch clamp).
