Description
A postdoctoral position is available to characterize single proteins and cell mechanics using modern optical microscopy and atomic force microscopy (AFM), and retinal structure and vascular network using optical coherence tomography (OCT) and angiography (OCTA) for Alzheimer's disease (AD) animal models. This NIH supported position is a one year appointment, with the possibility of a second or third year extension based on research productivity.
Requirements
A Ph.D. in bioengineering, biophysics, physics, and biochemistry, and/or related fields. Experience with cell culture and fluorescence microscopy is required. Experience with AFM and OCT will be very helpful.
